The client had a requirement for large scale gas mains (1.1m diameter) to be manufactured and installed over a 1600m distance.  The pipe work was fabricated in workshops on site by our workforce and our in-house design team were able to provide all the support and structural calculations before submitting their drawings to Corus for approval.  A Corus chemical engineer gave their specifications to us and we designed all the gas flow expansion calculations and the majority of the design calculations for this job.

During the installation we managed everything from the civil engineering, support design, construction and installation, the pipe work installation, in situ welding and commissioning of the gas main.
